Re: [Openshot.bugs] [Bug 1270042] Re: Video Synch Random

I don't know how do you record your videos (i.e. which sofware do you use)
but two thoughts :
-ogv format is worse managed on Linux. It is FFmpeg2theora usually use for
this task but there are a bug in the last version not resolved and like the
project is dead................well it is not the video codec to use.
- Recordnow (which use ffmpeg2theora like core engine for recording) give
some videos with issues.

Hum what do you have with this FAQ :

  Video Synch Random

Hello. Recently I was trying to make a video on open shot that was basically recorded in record my desktop and audio from Smart Voice Recorder on my phone. In my editing I had everything synced up and was all a 15:06 length video. Upon rendering I found that for some reason a random 30 minutes was added on the video that either consisted of my audio repeating to a white screen or my audio occuring during a random part of the video. When I went back to the video editor, I found that there was indeed 30 minutes of uneditable footage although the video clearly indicates its only 15:06 in length. In the editor as well there was no yellow bar extending across a Graphic that indicates how long each is going but just plain white. I will post a picture.
