Sorry i assumed you were right... when i update nothing happens the
packages are still there and already latest version even after following
that.

Still does not show video :-/

  Once I get to maybe 7 or 8 clips added into the timeline, it will no
  longer show the preview in the preview window (it is black) but the
  audio plays.
