[Bug 573412] Re: myth-halt.sh and myth-reboot scripts missing after upgrade from 9.10 to 10.04
We really do appreciate you opening this ticket to help improve
Mythbuntu, but it needs to be closed for a number of reasons. The
biggest one is that we have turned our efforts to a newer version. Could
you please verify if this issue still exists in the latest version?
Please do not let the closing of this ticket dissuade you from opening a
new ticket if this (or any other) problem occurs with the newer
versions.

Title:
myth-halt.sh and myth-reboot scripts missing after upgrade from 9.10
to 10.04
Status in Mythbuntu, Ubuntu derivative focused upon MythTV:
Won't Fix
Bug description:
after upgrade to 10.04, noticed the mythbox would not shutdown
automatically, further investigation found that error related to not
finding myth-halt.sh script where reported in mythbackend.log.
Looking for these files manually yielded no success. If this is
expected behavior, this should be added to the upgrade notes with
instructions on how to shutdown using the HAL going forward.
Mythbuntu 8.04 I believe added these scripts and suggested their use
in the upgrade notes.
