[Bug 835184] Re: Frontend Playback Problem
We really do appreciate you opening this ticket to help improve
Mythbuntu, but it needs to be closed for a number of reasons. The
biggest one is that upstream believes this to be fixed in the latest
version. Could you please verify if this issue still exists in the
latest version?
Please do not let the closing of this ticket dissuade you from opening a
new ticket if this (or any other) problem occurs with the newer
versions.

Title:
Frontend Playback Problem
Status in Mythbuntu, Ubuntu derivative focused upon MythTV:
Won't Fix
Bug description:
Playback of either Live TV or recorded TV recordings that are in Hi-
Def have a series of vertical green strips that are spaced across the
screen from left to right. Std Def LiveTV or recording do not have
this problem. Playback of recordings on other media players do not
exhibit this problem. Files seem to be ok. Playback on the MythTV
system is on an Athlon X2 (245)proc and a Gigabyte M68M-S2p mobo,
GeForce 7025/nForce 630a chipset. I’m using VGA out to a LCD monitor
and the not the proprietary drivers.
