[Bug 1128580] Re: Mythbuntu-control-centre 'Enable VNC Service' doesn't enable VNC

We really do appreciate you opening this ticket to help improve
Mythbuntu, but it needs to be closed for a number of reasons. The
biggest one is that upstream has moved on to a new version and believes
this to be fixed. Could you please verify if this issue still exists in
the latest version?

Please do not let the closing of this ticket dissuade you from opening a
new ticket if this (or any other) problem occurs with the newer
versions.

Title:
Mythbuntu-control-centre 'Enable VNC Service' doesn't enable VNC

Status in Mythbuntu, Ubuntu derivative focused upon MythTV:
  Expired

Bug description:
While installing Mythbuntu 12.04.1, when I got to Mythbuntu-control-
centre I enabled the SSH Service and the VNC Service. SSH works, but
there is no VNC server running (ps -e | grep vnc), nor could I find a
config file in /etc/init. Attempting to connect in via ssvnc fails (of
course). I tried the installation more than once and got the same
  results every time.
