Title:
Please remove diff-doc binary transitional package
Status in Package Descriptions for Ubuntu (to make translation easy):
Invalid
Status in diffutils-doc package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Status in diffutils-doc package in Debian:
Unknown
Bug description:
The package description of the diff-doc binary package is: "This is a
dummy package to aid in transitioning from diff-doc to diffutils-doc.
It may be safely removed after upgrading to squeeze."
Actually, this makes no sense for an Ubuntu user, who don't necessary
know debian's versions names...
Should be changed to the right Ubuntu-version or alternatively to not
break compatibility with upstream, change description from "This is a
dummy package to aid in transitioning from diff-doc to diffutils-doc.
It may be safely removed after upgrading to squeeze." to "This is a
dummy package to aid in transitioning from diff-doc to diffutils-doc.
It may be safely removed after upgrading from diff-doc to diffutils-
doc."
