[Bug 1462292] Re: gnome-do does not commit pre-edit text with input metod
Hm. This doesn't quite work - the input method eats keypresses that Do
needs to consume itself (including ‘.’ to enter text-mode).
It's clear that our IM handling is incorrect, though; I'm looking at
fixing it.
I don't normally use an input-method, though, so I'll be testing with
GTK's default <ctrl><shift>U+codepoint input method. When I've got
something for testing I'll need to ping you to check that it works for
you.

Title:
gnome-do does not commit pre-edit text with input metod
Status in Do:
Triaged
Bug description:
I cannot commit ibus pre-edit text with Enter key.
1. Launch gnome-do
2. Enable ibus-anthy
3. Type some keys and shows pre-edit text
4. Type Enter key
And the the Enter key is not sent to the input method engine but
gnome-do exhausts it.
