[Bug 1486750] Re: Openshot distorts colors from iphone video files
I've tried your file on a manjaro installed by pacman and no problem.
Tested with the preview and on the timeline with the player.
FFmpeg is an external dependencie.
I suspect that you don't have the good version of ffmpeg. Try this faq : https://answers.launchpad.net/openshot/+faq/983
You should try this one too for knowing if the problem comes from ffmpeg or mlt : https://answers.launchpad.net/openshot/+faq/1040

Title:
Openshot distorts colors from iphone video files
Status in OpenShot Video Editor:
New
Bug description:
Video, captured on my iphone (h264 - mpeg-4 avc (part 10) (avc1)) opened and rendered in Openshot has wrong colors. I've opened it in VLC, Parole, KdenLive. Only openshot spoils colors.
Grab this video https://www.dropbox.com/s/57oo510gtj29o4p/Sample.mov?dl=0
I've not found any dependenices like ffmpeg in openshot package, so I guess it's openshot's fault.
Ver 1.4.3
