Message #13965
[Bug 1561799] [NEW] openshot corrupts video in both preview and export
Public bug reported:
32 bit Ubuntu 15.10, OpenShot 1.4.3
I have used openshot a number of times successfully, but have just run into one video that I generated using kazam with which it refuses to play nice.
This particular video plays fine in VLC, video player and a couple of
others. But when I import it into openshot, the preview displays a
corrupted version with ~50% of the screen black in different areas and
some areas with incorrect colours. If I write out individual frames,
they are all OK. Exporting the video agrees with the preview.
1) ffplay plays video fine.
2) melt plays fine.
3) details from ffplay:
Input #0, matroska,webm, from 'Converted.mkv':
Metadata:
encoder : libmkv 0.6.5
