MCC is downloading the list from the old downloads page. Currently the
only way for a user to get the new list would be to manually drop the
file in the ~/.mythbuntu/repos.db location. The old URL is only active
for the repos.db file, so not fixing this would require paying for this
server (on Amazon AWS) for the lifetime of 16.04.

Bug description:
  In MCC in 16.04, the repos tab lists 0.28 as in development. It also
  does not list 0.29 at all. Hitting the refresh button downloads a new
  repo list but doesn't change this.
