Installing fonts-teluguvijayam results in chromium-browser rendering
correctly (or so it seems to my untrained eye) koodali.org.

  Telugu fonts are not being rendered properly or there is not setting to set the preferred font for a language. or its simply no support for Unicode in chromium browser
