i still don't get what the problem is, is the .pid file not being
created? or does it contain a wrong value? it has always been working on
my test Linux system.

Bug description:
need create .pid with PID  on Unix system

adchpp -p /var/run/adchpp.pid

it need for Initd scripts and run multiple copies of a hub on system.
