Ok I think I have the right branch and my problem is 
"scons
scons: Reading SConscript files ...
Checking for g++ >= 4.1...(cached) no
Compiler version check failed. g++ 4.1 or later is needed"

the problem now is that there isn't a gcc package later than 4.1
available for OpenSolaris yet...
