[Bug 587939] Re: dc++ crashes randomly, starting recently

> If you are using DC++ 0.75 & above running on Windows 7, you would not
be posting your problems here.

What do you mean? That I wouldn't have the problem or I would post it
somewhere else?

> Since you are 1 of the help developers of Android apps, it doesn't
hurt to upgrade your client may it be DC++, FireFox, uTorrent, etc.
which takes a few moments of your time.

I do update my client and server software when new versions are
released. I also test beta versions regularly. However both those
statement are only true as long as my productivity isn't lowered by it.
The same is true if for instance Firefox removed something like plugin
support, you can be sure a lof ot people would stop using it or switch
browser. This example is of course a lot more serious than what I'm
talking about but the same reasoning sort of applies. The newer versions
would hamper my productivity.

If the additions I talked about in my Answers post linked above ever
make it into an upcoming version, you can be sure I would switch to the
new versions.

Status in DC++: Invalid

Bug description:
OS version: Windows 7 Professional (all the latest updates)
DC++ version: 0.699 (I don't agree with some of the latest UI changes)

I've been running DC++ 0.699 in Vista (since it went RTM) and until just recently, Windows 7 (since it hit RTM) with no problems what so ever. It has worked fine for weeks at a time. No it can't handle more than 15-20 minutes without crashing. I have yet devised a way to reproduce the bug. I'm working on that. I should proably also say that I "disabled" the version check by routing dcplusplus.sourceforge.net to localhost since there was no way to disable it in the Settings. All I know is that the intruction at 0x00459766 is TEST AL,AL but since it won't allow me to debug it (gets stuck) I don't know what it's supposed to compare.
