well i looked on the MinGW sourceforge site and checked the files there
are plenty to download from all different versions so if someone would
be so kind to tell me all the minimal versions of w32api, binutils, and
mingw-runtime needed to compile would be extremely appreciated (as i
said the automated installer installs gcc 3.4.x which obviously will not
work)
