Re: [Bug 611648] Re: DC++ 0.770 freezes a few minutes after startup
Hi,
1. I'm using the latest version of DC++: 0.770
2. I :
- do now use real-time antivirus software,
- occasionally run SpyBot ( http://www.safer-networking.org/index2.html ),
- use ZoneAlarm on which DC++ is fully let through
- do not use indexing or monitoring software, nor Windows visual theme
What concerns me is the last lines of my crash-report:
threadConnect 95.169.1
Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.
[Switching to Thread 3460.0x78c]
0x7c918fea in ntdll!RtlpWaitForCriticalSection ()
from D:\WINDOWS\system32\ntdll.dll
Regards,
Lmocsi

Status in DC++: New
Bug description:
OS: Windows XP SP2 (eng)
DC++: 0.770
Soon after I start DC++, it consumes 90-100% cpu (even task manager freezes).
No such problem happened with earlier versions. Now, I tried to reinstall version 0.762, but that freezes too. :(
May it be some problem of the environment?
I don't remember installing anything lately (nor changing any configuration settings).
(see attached crash report)
