I tried portable version of 0.770, but it froze exactly the same way. I
attache screen capture of the task manager. It shows three items for
DC++, all unresponsive and I cannot kill them. In the processes is the
exe but I cannot kill that either. In other respects the computer works
OK so I could take the screen capture and save it as jpg file.

Status in DC++: Incomplete

Bug description:
OS: Windows XP SP2 (eng)
DC++: 0.770

Soon after I start DC++, it consumes 90-100% cpu (even task manager freezes).
No such problem happened with earlier versions. Now, I tried to reinstall version 0.762, but that freezes too. :(

May it be some problem of the environment?
I don't remember installing anything lately (nor changing any configuration settings).
