[Bug 611648] Re: DC++ 0.770 freezes a few minutes after startup

Altough its never been a problem for my F-Secure to detect DC++ version changes, make sure that your F-Secure does not have any blocking exceptions for DC++ in the Application Control or Firewall settings. Delete them all if you have any, regardless of its a blocking or allowing rule.
I have no more idea for you, that 3 running instance of DC++ in your screenshot is totally abnormal, but the fact that you cannot even kill them may give a suspicion of some system level software (maybe F-Secure maybe other software) hooked itslef to DC++'s file or networking I/O and causes this at all...

Status in DC++: Incomplete

Bug description:
OS: Windows XP SP2 (eng)
DC++: 0.770

Soon after I start DC++, it consumes 90-100% cpu (even task manager freezes).
No such problem happened with earlier versions. Now, I tried to reinstall version 0.762, but that freezes too. :(

May it be some problem of the environment?
I don't remember installing anything lately (nor changing any configuration settings).

(see attached crash report)
