And does the user running adchpp have write access to the directory
where you store the pid? (try "adchpp -p /tmp/adchpp.pid")

Bug description:
need create .pid with PID  on Unix system

adchpp -p /var/run/adchpp.pid

it need for Initd scripts and run multiple copies of a hub on system.
