they do look better, although they use slightly more real estate than
standard rectangle tooltips, and they appear farther away from the
parent control.

i'd be all for adding this style if we could also apply it to other
tooltips for consistency (such as ones managed by toolbars, tabs, list-
views). i have tried to apply the style on list-view tooltips with the
attached patch but modifying the style of the tooltip at run time
doesn't seem to work.
