[Bug 695957] Re: kind of whitespace instead accented characters in downloaded files
Hrmh, it shouldn't convert accented characters to anything. Unless your
encoding settings are incorrect.
The system default setting on most Linux systems means UTF-8, which is
incorrect for any hub with windows users. You should change the Default
Hub encoding (and the encoding setting for each favorite hub) to
matching windows codepage. E.g. If you're connected to a swedish hub the
correct codepage should be CP1252 (Western Europe), since that's what
the most users are more likely using.

Bug description:
in filenames with accented chracters is appearing whitespace and its impossible to process them for example in krename until the name is corrected by hand
the name is:
Zuc ddeek a jeho reptajc vnuk
instead of
Zurici dedecek a jeho reptajici vnuk
Character encoding on first page of ldcpp is set to system default
