So apparently... They lied.
It appears they got it from:

The plus side is that the version on Softpedia WORKS!

Status in “linuxdcpp” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Binary package hint: linuxdcpp
Lucid 1.0.3-1 has "Core Version" 0.75
Maverick 1.0.3-1ubuntu2 has "Core Version" 0.698
The older core suffers from bugs in the adc implementation.
