Re: [Bug 716632] Re: DC++ 0.781 can't open large filelist

Thanks

I'll try to make him use multiple clients.

I did some testing since I can't open the list with default settings, I
checked the settings xml, no entry for MaxFileListSize, so I changed the
setting to 1024 and now the setting showed up and I was able to open list.

Then I changed to 512 and was still able to load the list.

Then I change to 256 or completly remove the entry from the settings file
it's not possible to open the list.

And if I do my math correctly then 512 MiB is 536870912 byte, the size of
the filelist is 93913506 byte then compressed and expanded to xml it is
322843620 byte so it seems to me that the default setting of 512 MiB is
incorrect.

Title:
  DC++ 0.781 can't open large filelist

Status in DC++:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Several users in our hub have reported they can't open a large
  filelist, it starts to expand the folders and then stops with the
  following errormessage: 268435352: Greater than maximum allowed size.

  The filelist is about 73 MB in size.

  It seems to work in other clients, DC++ seems to be the only affected
  client, not sure whether older versions are affected.

  It's also possible to decompress the filelist and then open it in
  Notepad, and as far as I can se the xml seems to be ok.

  If you need the filelist, let me know.
