Razzloss proposed the following answer:
That is because you have both the Release PPA and the daily builds PPA
added.

Release PPA contains only Ubuntu 10.10 and 11.04 packages, and gives you
the 404 error for other versions.

Daily builds are done for other ubuntu versions as well, which is the
one you have now installed.
