[Bug 927160] Re: Issues with the new "max pm windows" function
the setting forgot to take into account already open PM windows. i've
added a status message when a PM is rejected because it would open a new
window. the rejected PM does get into the hub chat instead; that's
intended.
regarding the default value, i believe this is already quite high for
most. for those like you who want to increase it, it's 2 clicks away. ;)

Title:
Issues with the new "max pm windows" function
Status in DC++:
Invalid
Bug description:
I have heard the the default value for this function is limited at 20.
I find this a very underrated value because normally you get at least
1 pm from each hub and because of that this limit can be easily
reached. Another experience about it, that dispite of the limit being
reached, I was still able to send message, however, it was not shown
in the PM window nor in the log, but in the hub instead as the
following:
Private message from [HUN]LoRenZo®: [12:42] <[HUN]LoRenZo®> hello
Private message from eMTee: [12:43] <eMTee> hi
Since at this point I was not aware of the default value of the limit, I was having all my usual PM windows open (so that I will not receive the usual message from the hubs like in every hour in a new window).
I would suggest to raise the default value to 50.
Also, I was told that the above described experience (i.e. showing the
messeges on the hub) should not be as it is currently.
