Message #05320
[Bug 927821] Re: Having upgraded to DC 0.791 I can't connect to one of my rooms - the only one beginning "adcs//: I'm getting the message "The specified class was not found". I'm running in passive mode but had no trouble before upgrading.
There have been changes in the DC++ update to support the IPv6 protocol.
Your message points to one of these changes, so it's not entirely
surprising.
Please answer to the following to see if we can pinpoint the problem:
1) what is the content of the "Bind address" box in Settings >
Connectivity > Manual configuration? if it is not empty, try to clear it
to see if it helps.
2) where exactly do you get this message (system log, connecting to a
hub...)? can you copy it and paste it here?
3) from the Windows start menu, click "Run", then type "cmd" to open a command prompt (should be black). in that command prompt, copy & paste:
ipconfig /all | clip
(paste with a right-click in the prompt > Paste)
this should copy information about your network; please paste it here.
