Message #05340
[Bug 927821] Re: Having upgraded to DC 0.791 I can't connect to one of my rooms - the only one beginning "adcs//: I'm getting the message "The specified class was not found". I'm running in passive mode but had no trouble before upgrading.
Just wanted to add that I have had a similar experience. I belong to
about ten comic book hubs and have been using DC++ to access them
without any trouble. I downloaded and installed the new version (.791)
the other day, and since that time have been unable to access one of the
hubs to which I am subscribed (vintage-comics). The message I receive
each time DC++ attempts to connect to this hub is: "The specified class
was not found." I, too, have tried pinging the hub and have had no
trouble doing so. I am wondering, however, if in rolling over the stored
profile an error was made in the address; it is listed as: vintage-
comics.no-ip.org:1966;412. Not being an expert on these things, I am not
sure if having two ports listed like that separated by a semicolon is
kosher. I have tried accessing through each port separately (i.e. using
the address vintage-comics.no-ip.org:1966 or the same with 412 instead
of 1966), and each time I get through and am asked for a password. The
password I have stored in my profile for this site is then rejected, but
that may have to do with the port through which I am accessing. I have
been so far unsuccessful in verifying the hub address. It does seem that
my experience is similar to the person who started this thread, though.
