[Bug 1013345] Re: No port in $Search
i followed the instructions (auto-config that fails) but can't make it
send wrong searches. it sends active ones (with a proper port) when
active, passive ones (with the hub address) when passive. your problem
seems to be that it is trying to send an active search when in passive
mode. i just can't see how that is possible; the current code fairly
clearly prevents that situation from happening.
please investigate more or this is unlikely to ever be solved...

Title:
No port in $Search
Status in DC++:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Clients who apparently haven't set a proper port send searches like
this:
$Search 99.99.99.99:
F?T?0?9?TTH:GT2MJSJVAZNXMIOLJCY4XXTTRBU4NPV64ROGIZI
Doesn't make sense sending these without port, would be better to let
the user know he has to set a proper port and not accept an empty
field for port in settings dialog.
