- Upon trying the close the client, the visual update in the background stops as long the dialog is available.
- The other case when the same happens is when the client is running in windowed mode and the window is being either moved or resized manually.
- There might be more occurences, but I only encountered this in the cases listed above so far.

  When modal dialogs like the exit confirmation dialog shown the visual
  update in the background stops until the dialog is closed.

  The other case when the same happens is when the main window is not
