Re: [Bug 1173439] Re: upon restart of dc++ it rehashes part of the share, even if no files where changed

with version .825 it did not happen again. I have downloaded but not installed the new 0.828 version yet, so can't say anything about that. But the previous update to the .825 version did erase that problem! In the old version not even deleting the hash files and rehash everything removed the problem. And rehashing the full share took about 4 days :\

still happening with the latest version? if you have the courage,
deleting Hash* files that DC++ stores hash trees in and letting it
rehash everything from scratch would establish a nice testing point.
things may simply have gotten messed up over time. -- You received this

rehashes part of the share, even if no files where changed Status in
DC++: Expired Bug description: when restarting dc++ it starts to rehash
part of the share. It's rehashing between 20-30% of the share, even if
no files or folders were changed. It's doing that at every new start and
taking long time. Meanwhile share dropped that amount. After it's
finished rehashing files end up with identical tth and uploads will
resume. I'm using the latest DC++ version 0.811 on a Windows xp system
