[Bug 1206545] Re: Later versions crash when adding Mac-based Windows XP network shared files

1) AS i said, the search dialog had not completely loaded when it
crashed, so no opportunity to start a search.

2) As I recall, the entry in Shared Directories was there, but the hubs
that require minimum sharing were reporting for esample that my share
size was < 1 GB when it's actually something over 100 GB.

3) The files are there just now after I left DC++ shut down for a few
days, I just restarted version 0.828 and it came up recognizing my
shared files directory and size.

4) It didn't seem to need to hash. But in a short time DC++ will crash.

So it seems like the following is what's happening:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A) Upgrade DC++ to either v0.825 or 0.828 from a working v0.822
B) Launch the application, all looks well
C) Attempt a Search
D) Search dialog fails to launch and DC++ crashes
E) Restart DC++
F) Shared directory appears in Shared Directories but connected hubs can't see (DC++ isn't showing?) connected hubs correct shared file total size
G) Within a minute or so DC++ will spontaneously crash (with no user interaction) showing version 0.828 on title bar of application and version 0.825 on error dialog screen
H) No crashlog can be found
Title:
  Later versions crash when adding Mac-based Windows XP network shared
  files
Status in DC++:
  Incomplete
Bug description:
  Versions of DC++ after 0.822 can not recognize my (local area network
  based) share file folder.  DC++ crashes when trying to (re) add my
  shared folder.  I have reverted back to version 0.822 and my network
  shared files, already hashed, were immediately available.  Running
  Windows XP Pro SP3 with latested updates.  Shared files are on a
  Macintosh-based network share.
