Title:
Refuses to remember custom Incomplete directory preference
Status in Linux DC++:
New
Bug description:
linuxDC++ 1.1.0 (Core 0.75) on Linux Mint 14.
Steps to reproduce:-
- Open linuxDC++
- File -> Preferences
- "Downloads" Tab
- Change Directories for "Finished" and/or "Unfinished" download to a specific directory on an external USB Drive
- Click OK
- File -> Preferences
- "Downloads" Tab
What should happen?
linuxDC++ should remember the directory it has been told
What happens?
linuxDC++ forgets the directory it has been told, and reverts back to home directory.
$ linuxdcpp -v
LinuxDC++ version: 1.1.0
DC++ library version: 0.75
GTK+ version: 2.24.13
GLib version: 2.34.1

$ cat /etc/issue
Linux Mint 14 Nadia \n \l

$ uname -a
Linux lukey-F8Vr 3.8.11-030811-generic #201305011408 SMP Wed May 1 18:09:29 UTC 2013 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
Notes:
This behaviour also seems to affect shared directories, whatever specific directory is given, it will revert to the home directory - This could potentially be seen as a serious security flaw, as users will be exposing their home folders which is almost certainly not what they were expecting.
