Re: [Question #258414]: users cant connect with eachother

Question #258414 on ADCH++ changed:
https://answers.launchpad.net/adchpp/+question/258414

Description changed to:
I have setup adch++ on a server 2012 (dont ask - i had it already
running 24/7 for other functions) and everything setup, encrypted and
everything. i can connect to my hub no problem (local and usingthe
internet) without problems. so i guess the hub is correctly setup.

When i connect localy using airdc++ to connect using my internal ip of
the server everything works fine... a bit slow on transfew but it works
(around 10/15 MB/s...but that is something for another time to solve.

When i connect using the internet and thus the external wap ip of my
server i also can connect without problems. when i want to connect to a
user... if that other user is local or external it doesnt metter...it
just wont connect and gives a timeout on the connection it also wont
show an ip to witch its trying to connect...

it sounds like the hub is configuard to local use only but i cant fiend
anything... and then it would be strange why it is connecting to the heb
and chat and everything works just fine...

I have tryed with all firewalls off... (on the server and on the
client... this also changes nothing

I have tryed manyally opening ports and selecting those for the server
and a seperete set of ports for the client... so the connections should
be ok...

When i connect to a random other hub (dchub:// or adc://) it all works
fine... i have found some issues with connecting to other users that are
in a adcs:// hub... like mine... thy also dont connect... so is it
something in the client? even though some of the other users in the list
also use airdc++ 2.80 so aparently it can work...

If someone knows the seloution... please tell me.
