Bug description:
[Impact]
lltng-modules in yakkety is not compatible with a 4.8 kernel and does not build at all. This was fixed with the 2.8.1 stable release update. I cherry-picked just what was required from 2.8.1 for 2.8.0 to build on a 4.8 kernel in this SRU because there are other commits that aren't related to this problem.
[Test Case]
Install the package, if it builds and is usable its a positive step forward.
