It's XUbuntu not Xubunto. Please read:

Did you MD5 test the image you downloaded? Errors in the image may cause
issues. Did you also check the CD for defects (When the stick man at the
bottom of the screen appears press space then select "Check CD for
defects")

A bad CD WILL make a bad installation experience.
