I think it's important to release often. Even if it's not complete,
release something will bring users, feedbacks, and maybe
developers/patches. Waiting for pcmanfm to be complete may be long. No
software is perfect, and I think for a rewrite, pcmanfm is quite in a
good state.

Also, you could branch actual git trunk to 1.0 and commit only bug
fixes, and share patches with trunk, where development continue.
