Ah well,

you may recall at the end of July I asked for peoples views on having a
log-bot on the IRC channel, and the replies were get it done. It seems my
application got lost in the system somewhere, so I've re-applied and have
been told about 7 days for it to go through. Sorry for the delay, one of the
others I was chatting to said it took 3 requests and 3 months to get his -
so we're not doing too badly :p
