Re: Incorrect password when using Synaptic Package Manager

Hi list,

I've found a solution for my problem a long time ago, just edit "gksu
--description /usr/share/applications/synaptic.desktop /usr/sbin/synaptic"
to "gksudo --description /usr/share/applications/synaptic.desktop
/usr/sbin/synaptic" in /usr/share/applications/synaptic.desktop.

But now I realize that I only get this problem when I install Lubuntu using
netinstall not using a CD or USB stick.

I think someone should make a test about this, if it's true I think we
should insert some lines in Lubuntu wiki/help page like network manager
problem to help other users.

Regrads,
Hung
