Hi,

You can use PrtSc key to take screenshots, after pressing PrtSc key, youwill see your screenshots in your home directory, their names look like"2011-01-01-205055_1360x768_scrot.png".

You can also use mtpaint: Layers menu -> New layer -> choose GrabScreenshot -> click Create button.
