Dumb question. Why doesn't "startup disk creator" recognize the 64-bit iso? It won't let me make a bootable usb stick.
Thanks,

Yeah, as with all things of this nature it needs to be run through the gauntlet a time or two before any decisions about distribution are made. If there are issues that I missed, then I need to get them situated before this is released to the public.

Does anyone tested it yet, before putting in on torrent and mirrors ?

I'll upload it to phillw.net during this evening.
So we will have a mirror of it.
Who will upload it to a torrent site?I'm eager to seed after I have it.

Alright, I have it uploaded and have done one test download to verify the md5sum matches (nothing is more irritating than a bad upload). Here 'tis:
http://kendalltristan.com/iso/Lubuntu-11.04-amd64.iso
md5sum = f24d791333efc959a81d5449bf893aa6
Let me know how it goes and if there's anything that needs fixing. Thanks.

Thank Kendall. I wondered how do you create this image. Do you use a script or did you do it manualy with a chroot ?
If we don't find bugs when testing it, we can probably ship it as an non-offcial ISO, like the alternate CD we had for 10.10.
