I'm sure I replied....

Is the fact xterm can do it and lxterminal cannot a bug in lxterminal? But,
whilst these things are decided upon and work made - I would like to at
least have a 'work-round' on the FAQ area at
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Lubuntu/Documentation/FAQ for those who
wish to contribute and are not familiar with wiki pages, fear not :)

Just give me an 'idiots guide'. I do not have these problems on my kit - so
I / we really do need you guys to give a workaround until we get the bug
squashed :)
