Re: Wubi on 12.04

I subscribed to that bug and added an offer to provide testing.

While Wubi is not as stable as an actual installation it can be quite useful, particularly since many Win 7 OEM's now use 4 primary partitions.

IMHO it's definitely worth pursuing.

hi Jean-Pierre,
I have had a dig around and raised a bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/wubi/+bug/907524 If someone could pop on there and click on the "affects me" button, that will auto confirm it.

Regards,
Phill.

One thing I would like to see in Lubuntu, is the presence of Wubi.
I've wanted to "show" some friend/familiars/co-workers how Lubuntu rocks but the only way i get is by livecd... and they want to try it a little :)

Wubi is a GREAT option for a lot of people (myself included since i have only one hard drive and original windows is installed on it ;)

Is this possible?
