Lubuntu precise-alternate-powerpc.iso 20120301
G4 eMac - guided, entire disk - installs and runs
G3 iMac -  guided, entire disk - installs, but boots to command prompt following install

could you update http://iso.qa.ubuntu.com/qatracker/milestones/208/builds for the type of installation you chose (I'm guessing guided) I'm just awaiting on whether to file the bug against ubiquity or gparted re: extra partitions.

I notice that in the partitioning if guided,resize is selected, then it
creates an extra swap partition in addition to any that might already be
there.  Also, an extra boot partition gets created.
