Hi I have just used a live usb of Lubuntu 12.04 desktop and in one of 
my machines it does not seem to be connecting to the internet, 
although it does get an ip from dhcp I think. This is an ethernet 
wired connection.

ifconfig and lspci are pasted below. Suggestions would be welcomed. 
Apart from getting the particular machine working, should I perhaps 
file a bug or something?

The live usb works fine in another more recent machine. I have not yet 
installed Lubuntu into the problem machine, but if I do, I wonder how 
I could get connected. I do have a wireless dongle, which I have not 
yet tried with this - it will have a good chance of working whereas 
the network card presumably  has problems??
