Re: Fwd: QA Community & Flavors Roundtable

Hi,

that would be great! As the team is pretty self organising, it is a role of
ensuring everyone is kept up to date. There are two meetings (on a
Wednesday), one for 'main' QA and one for Lubuntu where an update is
requested. A "nothing to report" is fine :) If you could add
#ubuntu-testing and #ubuntu-release to your list of freenode IRC areas that
you inhabit. The guys & gals there are brilliant at quickly responding to
any query that arrives to which you don't have an answer to!

The wiki page https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Lubuntu/Testing does not need much
maintenance, just update the intro as to where we are on the release cycle.

I have always held a policy of approving anyone to the Lubuntu-QA group who
requests it, you will receive an email when someone requests to join.

Assuming I have not put you off, I'd also strongly suggest you ask Julien
to add you to the mailing list of bugs that affect Lubuntu that come in via
Launchpad. I give them a quick a read so as to keep up to date with issues
& then archive them in case I need to dig them up for further information.
Also, if you have not already, do join the 'main' QA mailing list.

As release day approaches, I'll contact kate myself as I will be continuing
to host the iso's of Lubuntu on the secondary server for them.

If there are any questions, either now or in the future, you are more than
welcome to email me!

Thanks,

Phill.
