Hi folks,
whilst the chat in IRC was okay, the actual problem still remains.
The spins are coming too fast, unannounced. If they are pre-announced,
then I can wait for them to come. If they hit in the middle of a test,
then I lose the ability to update or complete the test and all that time
goes for nothing. Is there a way to get more of a heads-up for pending
spins and ISO images?

I get mail when the spins are ready and that works fine, for the most
part, but today the test case web page was locked up for editing for a
while when I still had some tests outstanding. So there was a period of
a few hours where I could not test as scheduled. The test cases where
(are) labelled "This is a legacy testcase..."
IMHO, this is a serious bug. If our testers become disheartned then we
have a major problem.
The testers MUST be told what is going on, we KNOW that there will be
a respin [1]
All it takes is to let the testers know WHEN :)
Communicate to your testers, I am only speaking for Lubuntu, but I'm
sure other testiing
teams would appreciate such information.
