Re: please bump this bug up to high priority
Sorry I haven't had time to check out that bug :^(
My ability to test during the QQ Beta 1 cycle started off very limited, no doubt in part due to the limitations of my own mind and body, but the openchrome graphics bug that Lars reported cut my number of test boxes down from two to one :^(
Then came a slew of ubiquity changes/bugs that required me to start cross-testing Ubuntu images to see if the bugs were limited to Lubuntu - thankfully none were.
But, back on topic, we (as a team) need to figure out what hoops we need to jump through to get this fix included in QQ final. I say that because some freezes are in place, and in my experience it can sometimes be difficult to get needed bug fixes applied.
Sometimes it can be as simple as just applying a tweaked version number to comply with Ubuntu packaging rules, but other times it can require an actual exception request.
Phill would know much more about that than I do. So I wonder if we've included Julien in this conversation yet?
IMHO any bug that has a potential of resulting in data loss is critical so we need to give it the absolute highest priority.
