Hi,

I know most of you are not 'into' computer games, but I do have an invite
for someone who would like to test:

The Steam on Linux beta is being opened for wider testing,


I asked If I could pass it onto someone via lubuntu-qa who could make use
of it and report bugs:

There are three rules:
1) You do not go shouting this around.
2) You do not pass the code on.
3) You accept it is a Beta.[1] (Look out for the bit for 12.10)


The bit scares me is *the key is yours :P *But, I trust you good folk. So,
if you'd like to help test games coming over to the *buntu family, give me
a reply. I'd be really interested in just how lubuntu with the slimmed down
basic resources can actually handle such things... It can be safely filed
amongst the file "Crazy things I do with Lubuntu" :) You guys have 1st
refusal but with the oft 'there are no games for linux', it would be fun to
see if any of you want mix 'business' with 'pleasure' :P
