Hi,

First of all, please run this command:

$ gksudo synaptic

For any graphical application, you need to use "gksudo". For CLI
applications, you can use "sudo".

Run the above command and post the output.

And are you trying to say that Synaptic is crashing? what are you trying to
install? or it is just crashes once you open it?
