Thank you for the link! I was using the other compiling link, and
got to a stopping place quickly with ./configure as it says "no such
file or directory." The "easy" version has a possible solution I had
not tried yet.
If I'm able to compile it on my very modest Mac Mini G4, I'll let
you know, and maybe I'll try to package it as a .deb (never done
that before!) so you and others can test it. I won't be able to fix
anything if it's broken, but at least we'll know if it is broken.
